Virtual Christmas Fair 2020

Christmas fair 2020

Due to current restrictions this year's Christmas Fair we have had to think differently this year. The fair will have 3 strands...
1) homemade crafts
2) mini auction
3) a few independent stalls.

Do share this news and the Facebook page with your friends and family (they don't need to be local to join in).

Donations
We already have sufficient items to hold a mini auction - if anyone would like to donate any further items to the auction do feel free to get in touch. However please do not buy things specifically to donate.

Equally if there are any crafts / homemade goods you would like to offer to the church to sell, we would be delighted to hear about them.

If you would like an independent stall relevant to the Christmas Fair on our page (and are willing to provide full coordination, communication and receive payment for sales for your products), please contact us with details. We would politely request stallholders contribute a commission of their sales to the roof appeal.

Please contact Becky Edge before 4 December with details of any of the above.

It is unfortunate that under the circumstances we are unable to hold the traditional Christmas Fair that has taken place for many years. We appreciate that some people may have been collecting things all year to donate to the fair for which we are extremely grateful. However we would like to get the most out of each event and would prefer to hold such items back to future fundraisers which hopefully can take place in person. An online event doesn't logistically lend itself well to collection of small payments and large volumes of deliveries.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning to visit us for the first time, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Weekly news email

If you would like us to send you our weekly email update with all the latest news and what is happening you can sign-up here.

Where and When

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church -  there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

Our Services on a Sunday

8am BCP Holy Communion
9.15am All Age Service
11am Morning Prayer / Holy Communion

Whilst each of our services is different, you can expect a warm welcome;  relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

8am BCP Holy Communion - is a quiet, said service using traditional language.
9.15am All Age - a lively service, interactive with worship songs.
11am - more traditional, liturgical service with hymns.

Children of all ages are welcome in every service (though some services are more geared towards families e.g. 9.15am All Age).

Our Services on a Wednesday
9.15am Early Birds Service (for pre schoolers and their carers)
11am Holy Communion

Do check the calendar to see which service is on each week.
