Auction of Promises

Friday 5th to Sunday 7th November.

Remember, remember the roof in November with our Auction of Promises.

We have received over 55 promises now all we need is for people to buy them!  There is everything from Afternoon Tea to Football coaching, Beauty vouchers to genealogy work, hours of DIY to an iPad and so much more.  There really is something for everyone.

How does it work?
Head over to our Roof Fundraising Facebook page
All of the items up for auction will have a separate post.  If you are interested in an item then you put your bid in the comments (remember to keep checking back in case someone has bid higher than you!).  The highest bid when the auction closes on Sunday will win the lot.  The winner of each lot will then be contacted by one of the team to arrange payment and collection.

All funds raised will be going towards the Church Roof Appeal.  Please do share the Facebook page with others and encourage your friends to join in.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning to visit us for the first time, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Weekly news email

If you would like us to send you our weekly email update with all the latest news and what is happening you can sign-up here.

Where and When

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church -  there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

Our Services on a Sunday

8am BCP Holy Communion
9.15am All Age Service
11am Morning Prayer / Holy Communion

Whilst each of our services is different, you can expect a warm welcome;  relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

8am BCP Holy Communion - is a quiet, said service using traditional language.
9.15am All Age - a lively service, interactive with worship songs.
11am - more traditional, liturgical service with hymns.

Children of all ages are welcome in every service (though some services are more geared towards families e.g. 9.15am All Age).

Our Services on a Wednesday
9.15am Early Birds Service (for pre schoolers and their carers)
11am Holy Communion

Do check the calendar to see which service is on each week.
