Christian Aid Week   Christian Aid logo

14th-20th May 2023 is Christian Aid Week. Christian Aid is a charity that has been standing with the poorest of our neighbours in the world, for over 70 years. They work in 37 countries, with people of all faiths and none, to stand up for dignity, equality and justice. They aim to help create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. Click here to visit their website

This year Christian Aid Week will focus on the plight of drought and floods that numerous countries around the world face because of the climate change. The impact on the world population is great, as it means that millions of people around the world struggle to get the food, water and shelter that they need. So as part of Christian Aid week, in partnership with Euxton Methodist Church, we are running a fundraiser - Count your Blessings. Each day you are challenged to reflect on something you have that many around the world live without. You are then encouraged to donate a small amount for each of those items.

You can collect a challenge sheet from church, or can dowload one here.

At the end of the week, please return any donations to church. They will be counted and sent on to Christian Aid.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning to visit us for the first time, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Weekly news email

If you would like us to send you our weekly email update with all the latest news and what is happening you can sign-up here.

Where and When

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church -  there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

8am BCP Holy Communion - is a quiet, said service using traditional language.
9.15am All Age - a lively service, interactive with worship songs.
11am - more traditional, liturgical service with hymns.

Children of all ages are welcome in every service (though some services are more geared towards families e.g. 9.15am All Age).
