Lockdown 3

We have taken the difficult decision to suspend public worship (ie services in church) at this time. Whilst this is hard, and not what any of us would desire, we believe it to be right at this time due to a number of factors and to prioritise the health & safety of our community.  This will come as a sadness to some, but we have not taken this decision lightly.

Worship Options

Zoom Family Services
These will continue at 9am each Sunday.  Services are about 50 minutes long and suitable for the whole family with songs, reading, activities (anything from a quiz to origami), talk and prayer.  Afterwards there is a chance to catch up with others over zoom coffee (or tea if you prefer!).  The codes for these services are emailed out in the weekly church update - please contact us if you would like to receive these.

Dial-a-sermon
A phone service of about 10/15 minutes long which include a reading, sermon and prayers.   This can be accessed by ringing 01772 963020. This is a joint venture with Buckshaw Village Church

Diocese Service
There is a service, available from 9am each Sunday, from different churches across our diocese.  This can be viewed on the Blackburn diocese youtube channel.

Church of England - Daily Hope Line
Offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the national  Church of England.  This can be accessed by ringing  0800 804 8044.

TV & Radio
There are a variety of programmes available on both TV and radio. Please check listings for details.

The church building may be closed,
but God's church is very much alive!

Where and When

church

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church -  there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

Sunday Regular Services

8am BCP Holy Communion - a quiet, said service using traditional language.
9.15am All Age Service - a lively service, interactive with worship songs for everyone and also geared towards children /families.
11am Morning Prayer / Holy Communion - more traditional, liturgical service with hymns.

Whilst each of our services is different, you can expect a warm welcome;  relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

What about my children?

Children are welcome at all of our services, though the All-Age Sunday service is more aimed towards children and families.  We also have specific services and groups for children to attend for toddlers / pre-schoolers and schools Years 6 - 10:
