Join a Team

We are told in the Bible that God gives everyone gifts, skills, talents so that we can serve him. The church works best when everyone plays their part. We are always looking for people to join our existing teams and ministries, or even start something new. Opportunities to serve include:

- Services & Hospitality - welcoming people, reading the Bible, leading the prayers, AV, stewards team, refreshments & Gather & Natter Team.
- Buildings, Grounds & Practical - cleaning, grounds maintenance, grass cutting, & flower teams.
- Ministry areas - Baptism team, Youth Group, Pastoral Team, Early Birds, Funeral Team, Outreach Team & Discipleship Team
- Administration & Communication - Admin support, finance team, publicity & social media, fundraising.

Here is a brief explanation of the many roles mentioned above. If you feel that there are other ways that you can support then just get in touch.

Hi there! We're delighted to welcome you to Euxton Parish Church!
We're a friendly church at the heart of the local community, wherever you are on your faith journey.

We have three services on Sunday and one on Wednesday, as well as groups, lunches, walks, and coffee mornings running throughout the week.

We also regularly run short courses, where you can find out more about the Christian faith (these are advertised nearer the time).

Children are welcome at all of our services, though the All-Age Sunday service is more aimed towards children and families. Early Birds is our term-time toddler / pre-schooler service. We also run a Youth Group for children in Years 6 – 10.

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church - there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

There is wheelchair access to church, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Churchwardens / Welcomers know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is a toilet at the front of church with level access from outside.
