Diocese Centenary 'Big Day Out'

Saturday 16th May, Blackpool town centre

Blackburn Diocese is marking 100 years with a Big Day Out in Blackpool!
With dedicated zones for families and young people, plus live music, comedy, a free hog roast lunch and a huge open air worship gathering in St John’s Square, it’s set to be a fantastic day for our whole Diocese. Everyone is welcome, and pre registration helps us plan food and spaces.

There are designated areas for pre schoolers / primary aged children (Family zone) , young people Years 7-11 (Youth Zone) and adults. Family and Youth Zone places must be pre-booked.

Mini Bus Bookings
You can use your own transport for the day or we have organised a mini bus to and from the venue at £10 per head payable on the day. Please contact Gail here to book a space or use the sign up sheet at the back of church.

Hi there! We're delighted to welcome you to Euxton Parish Church!
We're a friendly church at the heart of the local community, wherever you are on your faith journey.

We have three services on Sunday and one on Wednesday, as well as groups, lunches, walks, and coffee mornings running throughout the week.

We also regularly run short courses, where you can find out more about the Christian faith (these are advertised nearer the time).

Children are welcome at all of our services, though the All-Age Sunday service is more aimed towards children and families. Early Birds is our term-time toddler / pre-schooler service. We also run a Youth Group for children in Years 6 – 10.

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church - there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

There is wheelchair access to church, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Churchwardens / Welcomers know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is a toilet at the front of church with level access from outside.
