How You Can Help

We can all get involved and help, whether it is giving financially, running a fundraising event or donating your time in other ways.  There are several ways each individual can pledge to help us fundraise. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Make an online donation here
  • Use this form to make or pledge a cash donation (see below for regular giving)
  • Run your own fundraising event for family / friends (e.g. cake sale, coffee morning (on zoom), hold a cream tea event)
  • Commit to a personal challenge (e.g. sponsored walk, silence, bible reading, bike ride). Obtain sponsors via JustGiving page / paper form.
  • Involve children by encouraging sponsored challenges, car washes at home, donate pocket money, auction of promise or something even more creative.
  • Speak to employers re Matched Funding
  • Collect / donate prizes for online auction
  • Deliver leaflets
  • Ask for donations to the roof appeal instead of birthday / Christmas / anniversary presents
  • Use when online shopping
  • Amazon shopping?  Sign up to Amazon Smile and add The Parochial Church Council Of The Ecclesiastical Parish Of Euxton as your charity and we'll receive 0.5% on all your amazon purchases.  (You'll need to shop through Amazon Smile for the donation to happen).
  • Make and sell Christmas cakes / puddings / decorations etc

We would love to hear about events you are organising so we can advertise them, and potentially open the events to the wider community. Please contact Becky Edge if you wish to publicise your event or if you are aware of any grant options that could be available to us.

Regular giving
If you wish to give a monthly amount then please can you:
- complete a pledge form and return it.
- set up a standing order for the amount and in the reference put 'roof'.  If you already give by standing order then please can you set up a 2nd standing order so that we can easily identify it.

Gift Aid
If you are a tax payer then please gift aid your donation.  This allows us to reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate, from the Government.  Gift aid form is here.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning to visit us for the first time, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Weekly news email

If you would like us to send you our weekly email update with all the latest news and what is happening you can sign-up here.

Where and When

All our services take place in the Church Building on Wigan Road.

We have a car park on School Lane, Euxton.
For church -  there is a footpath from the car park, which brings you out in the church grounds.
For church community centre - the entrance is opposite the car park entrance (across School Lane).

When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcomers who will happily welcome you and answer any questions.

Our Services on a Sunday

8am BCP Holy Communion
9.15am All Age Service
11am Morning Prayer / Holy Communion

Whilst each of our services is different, you can expect a warm welcome;  relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

8am BCP Holy Communion - is a quiet, said service using traditional language.
9.15am All Age - a lively service, interactive with worship songs.
11am - more traditional, liturgical service with hymns.

Children of all ages are welcome in every service (though some services are more geared towards families e.g. 9.15am All Age).

Our Services on a Wednesday
9.15am Early Birds Service (for pre schoolers and their carers)
11am Holy Communion

Do check the calendar to see which service is on each week.

Is there a dress code?

No!  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

What about my children?

Children are welcome at all of our services, though some are more aimed towards children and families.

Wednesday's in term time - Early Birds at 9.15am in church (for pre-schoolers and their carers).

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!  You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
